Nordic walking is a type of exercise that originated in Finland in the 1930s as summer training for professional cross-country skiers.

It is a physical activity that involves the whole body, is gentle on the joints and suitable for all ages, and does not require a great deal of fitness, so it is suitable for everyone and can be practised anywhere outdoors.

Nordic walking improves fitness, helps you lose weight and tones your whole body.
